Sour Cream Container DIY {Get your craft on Monday}

For today's "get your craft on Monday" project, I have created a tutorial on how to make Sour Cream Containers. These cute and easy to make favor containers are not only inexpensive, but super cute displayed in a big bowl, basket or laid out on a dessert table.
Here are the supplies you will need:
4.25" x 5.5" light weight  plain or patterned paper
Paper Cutter
Double sided adhesive with plastic liner (Sticky Strip™)
Embellishments (such as our Super Chick printables)

STEP 1:  Apply Sticky Strip™ to one of the short sides of the reverse side of your 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of patterned paper.  Apply a second strip along the top from the end of the long side until half way in.
Apply the last piece in the middle of the bottom of long side of the paper.

Step 2: Remove the plastic liner from the Sticky Strip™on the short side of your paper ONLY.  Adhere the short ends of the paper together to form a cylinder. Do not overlap too much, just enough to cover tape.

 Step 3:  On the inside of your cylinder remove the plastic liner from the Sticky Strip™on just one side. Making sure your tape is centered, squeeze these two ends together to form a seal. As shown at the bottom of the cylinder in the photo above.

Step 4: Fill container with wrapped candy or trinkets of your choice.

Step 5: Once container is filled, remove the plastic liner from the Sticky Strip™on open end. Center tape and squeeze ends shut in the opposite direction as bottom side.

Step 6: Decorate your containers with punched out or cut printables, ribbon, bakers twine or other fun  items you may have on hand. We used printables from our Spring Chick collection found HERE

Now have fun sharing these sweet little treat containers!
