Shopping, Lunch and New Friends

Last week my girls and I got to hang out and check out some more new places in the Orlando area,

as well as meeting up with the FABULOUS Melinda and her lovely daughter.
We started out at the adorable store called Pink Chalet near Universal Studios.  We found so many fun items in that shop, my girls and I could have stayed there much longer than the 30 minutes we were able to spend there.

After that, we met up with Melinda and Jacqueline and headed over to CityWalk at Universal Studios.  Our plan was to try the new restaurant "CowFish", but they did not open until 4pm, so we went to Margaritaville instead.  Melinda and I shared  HUGE plate of nachos, it was so good.

After we ate, we walked around and looked at a couple of shops.  Fresh Produce was another place with a lot of adorable clothes and jewelry.

Thanks again Melinda for meeting up and bringing along your daughter.  My girls and I really enjoyed getting to spend time with you two.

Coffee and Etsy

Good morning!

I agree, it has be awhile since I have posted.....sorry about that!  There have been a few changes lately and I am finally able to come up for air over here.

This is what my morning is going to consist of before I head off to the "other" job for the evening. ;)

Updating some Etsy listings and enjoying my peppermint bark coffee in a quiet house.  Not too bad for a Monday morning.  Have a great week and I hope to be back with another post later this week.

Happy Owl-O-Ween Treats

I showed you a photo last week of some rice krispie treats I had made with a question of what you thought I might be making with them.  Well, today I am back with my treats and your guesses as well.

I will say that the guesses of brains really caught me off guard, but they were good, and made me think of another way to use these in the future.
Here are my little "owl-o-ween treats" with our D & P Celebrations printable squares.  I was going for pumpkins, but as you can see, they just are not quite there.  :)  The squares were perfect for layering with my Authentique paper (I just HAD to have last year) and attaching to the front of these little black boxes.

These fun little treat boxes would be great to hand out to friends, co-workers or neighbors.
