My wonderful neighbors threw this awesome 1st birthday party for their son who is on oxygen for the foreseeable future. I hope you enjoy the photos and her ideas, Thank You Beth!
We decided to embrace and bring some fun to the fact that our son, Tash, is on oxygen. "Got Oxygen" is what we settled on and thought it would be fun if for just awhile, people got to experience wearing a cannula with oxygen. A "walk" in Tash's shoes (or cannula) if you will.
Here are some of the details we included in the party:
We had a fully functioning oxygen bar for all of our guests. There was coffee, lemon, orange, eucalyptus and cinnamon infused oxygen offered.
We ordered 20 adult and 20 children's cannulas if the kids also wanted to try it.
There was a bubble machine set up when the guests walked in, always a hit with little ones!
We tied balloons to oxygen tanks and decorated with the equipment we already had in our home.
I made the birthday cake for Tash and made it look like bubbles (at least my best effort)
One of my neighbors painted the sign I used as decoration for Tash when he was born, it was perfect for the occasion.
The party was a BLAST! Nothing we nor our guests will ever forget!
