Double Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread Recipe

The Holidays are quickly approaching and I'm thrilled to be sharing one of my favorite seasonal recipes with you today! I am a pumpkin lover so when October rolls around you'll find me frequenting Starbucks for a Pumpkin Spice latte and baking anything and everything pumpkin. One of my go-to Fall and Winter recipes is double chocolate pumpkin bread. I started baking this yummy treat three years ago and it will be a family tradition for many years to come. Served slightly warm with a touch of powdered sugar and a cup of coffee it's out of this world.

Double Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

3 cups of flour
2 tbsp of cinnamon sugar
2 tbsp of baking powder
1 tsp of salt
4 eggs
2 cups of pumpkin
2 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
12oz of semi-sweet chocolate chips (this is for double chocolate chips, use 6oz if preferred)

Heat oven to 350. Grease two loaf baking pans. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon sugar. Mix in eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin using a mixer or beater. Fold in chocolate chips. Bake for 60 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
