London Baby Boy Shower

I am sure no one is as excited about the new Royal baby that is coming to the Windsor family outside of the family as I am!  Ever since I can remember, I have had a fascination watching how the Royal family grows and this newest addition is very exciting!

With all this excitement, I had to play with some London iconic images for a baby shower theme and I could not just do one for the boys!  So, I made a similar set for the girls, and can I tell you, they are pretty darn adorable!!!  Today, I am sharing the boy set with you, my husband seems to think that Will and Kate are so perfect, they will probably have a boy! LOL!

The bright blue and vivid red are a great combo for a baby boy's shower, maybe for a lover of all things British (like me) or someone who is actually British!  We paired this theme up with a cream tea for the perfect simple party set up.  I would say it is a high tea, but I don't want to lead anyone astray from a "real" high tea.  We had a pot of wonderful Earl Grey tea with scones, clotted cream, raspberry preserves, cucumber sandwiches, shortbread cookies, chocolate covered biscuits, chocolate cupcakes and blueberry & strawberry kabobs to carry out the blue and red color scheme.

The banner and party squares were the perfect addition to the table on sticks in the cupcakes and in the baby's breath arrangement on the table (don't you just love the box all that is in?) I found that treasure at my local TJ Maxx store (HomeGoods) and knew it would be perfect for this shower!  I LOVE the baby boy banner with the rattles, so easy to cut and put this together!  Really, this whole party set up took me just about an hour plus food prep time!  Talk about an easy last minute party!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back later this week with the girls party photos!
