Earth Day Party for Kids

If you know anything about me, you know that I will have a party for any occasion.
Typically, I will plan a party for all of the lizard & ladybug's friends.  LOTS of kids!
Sometimes it's nice to have a smaller, lo-key celebration & this Earth Day, we will do just that.

The Earth Day collection from D & P Celebrations is perfect
for a small (or LARGE) get together.

This collection includes some great activity sheets:
 Color Hunt

Draw a Flower

*heart shaped crayons were made by melting broken crayons in silicone molds

and a fun Word Search

There are also these adorable cupcake toppers.
I actually used them to make fun buttons for the kids to wear.

And no party, big or small, is complete without sweets!!!!
I made a simple drizzle cake

here's the 'Earth' on the inside

add a few drops of food coloring to Sprite for a festive drink

I also ALWAYS have some type of favor for people to take.
I used some mini clay pots (3/$1 from Dollar Tree), seeded paper cut with a scallop paper punch and cupcake topper.

I hope these ideas inspire you to have your own Earth Day celebration.
