Spring Chick {New Product}

When D &P Celebrations showed me their latest creation, this adorable Geeky Spring Chick, I was smitten!  I couldn't wait to get my hands on this little guy and create a Spring inspired display.  What I adore about this printable is the versatility.  This chick represents Spring, Easter, babies (showers and nursery decor), nerdy cuteness, and made me think of one of my favorite series- Harry Potter.  Isn't he the cutest?  Bow ties added to the mix had me in smiles.  I envision a baby shower filled with more of his cuteness and all sorts of books and sweets on display.

Attaching the printable bow ties to skewers and embellishing them with stick on jewels made for easy cake decor.  These bow ties are such fun!  Display them all together in a vase, create a bow tie banner, or add them to food safe sticks and place them in all sorts of sweets.  Aside from the super cute chick I adore these bow ties and the fun possibilities!

The nerdy (or geeky) chick allows for displaying your favorite books or characters.  Being that I'm a big Harry Potter fan displaying a few books with the Spring chick just seemed like the right thing to do.  Glasses, a spring chick, and books- Fabulous! With Spring weather comes outside book reading, I know many of you are anxious for the beautiful weather Spring brings.

Spring always calls for fresh flowers.  I picked up a bouquet at the local grocery, add a few more bow ties to the mix, and placed them in a tin can.  A simple and cheerful display perfect for any Spring themed event.  I also highly recommend tossing colorful confetti on the table, simple and eye catching, and who doesn't love seeing confetti on a table?!?

Here's to a beautiful, cheerful, and party filled Spring,
